The adventures of Christmas shopping!

Hiya!
You know what? I completely forgot to blog yesterday!

And for all of you that got all beside yourselves and started having panic attacks, please calm down. I was very engrossed in the 4th and 5th Sweep books;Dark Magick and Awakening. You should go read the whole series now. And I also just finished the 3rd Mediator book by Meg Cabot. You should also go read that series too. Now. Because I said so. (I watched that movie yesterday!!) So since last time, I am going to update you on my life.

On Saturday I did some much needed Christmas shopping, which I can assure you was an absolute nightmare. People these days are so vicious when it comes to buy 2 get 1 free sales! But, as you can plainly tell, I survived. And I got to go to that new Borders they put up near Kohl's! I could spend a whole day in that place. Seriously, it's so rad in there. Except for the fact that there are other people that feel the need to talk and make noise to disrupt my reading. But otherwise, way cool place. They had Peeps by Scott Westerfeld!! Do you know how long I have been looking for that book?! Ever since I read about it on Amazon and I couldn't find it until 2 days ago! So, of course, I got it. Along with 3 other books for myself. And I got some other rad stuff for myself too, because every time I go shopping for someone else''s crap I always end up treating myself to something. And then on Sunday I went to church for the first time in a while. My youth group is going to Georgia this summer on a mission trip thing and guess who's going?! Me! Yeah, we have to build stuff in 100+ degree weather but I heard that stuff is rewarding. And it's Georgia, for God's sake. We get to go to the beach! Although, out of the 8 days we're there, we only get 1 1/2 days off, but still. Way cool. And we're selling chocolate bars and so far I'm the only buyer. And right now I'm listening to Relient K. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

So, now that you have all been informed of why you had a panic attack because you thought my computer along with its internet access drowned in the Hoover Dam, I can go read Peeps now! Finally! And who is totally excited that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is coming out on DVD tomorrow?! And I Am Legend (which I am totally going to see) starring Will Smith is coming out on Friday?! I am!
