Let's do the time warp again!

I have some very unfortunate news.

A Hero From A Thousand Paces, more commonly known as Hero, is no longer.
That's right. They're done. As a group, at least.

Here is the bulletin that they posted on myspace:

It's been a long time since we've seen you all and we want to apologize for such a long absence from any shows and appearances. A lot has changed in the New Year and unfortunately we have some saddening and depressing news. For reasons uncontrolled by us, we've parted ways with our long time friend and guitarist Sprout. He helped get A HERO FROM A THOUSAND PACES out of the basement and into the stores in so many ways, he complimented our vision, image and message to all of you, and we're very shocked and affected by his departure. Several decisions made by him have affected us personally and we're not happy with how things have turned out. This decision is not an easy one, nor does it come without grim consequences for A HERO FROM A THOUSAND PACES, as we will not be replacing him.
We have also parted ways with our lead singer Mark Fray. He had expressed discontent for some time in A HERO FROM A THOUSAND PACES and felt that he needed to move on. We wish him the best of luck in any of his new ventures.
The remaining members of A HERO FROM A THOUSAND PACES feel that 2007 was an amazing year for us. We met so many of you awesome people, and we made a lot of new friends in the process. We got to play with some great bands and we visited some amazing places. However, due to an unfortunate laundry list of unexplained and uncontrollable events, we feel that we've reached the limit of what we can accomplish in this band. That being said, we are officially ending A HERO FROM A THOUSAND PACES four year run on February 12, 2008. The four remaining members will be continuing their career in music TOGETHER, just not as A HERO FROM A THOUSAND PACES.
Thank you all so much for believing in us, buying our album, buying a shirt, voting for us, driving seven hours in the rain, thanks to Ryan's parents for tolerating more than anyone ever should have, thanks to the rest of our parents, thanks to all our girlfriends, our regular friends, our band friends, our Tracy, and anyone and everyone who came to the shows. We love you all.

I know. It made me very sad too.
On a happier note, I didn't have school today because it was all snowy and icy and cold!

DID YOU KNOW
I watched Rocky Horror Picture Show today
Yes, I did, and I personally thought it was pretty dumb.
Bye!
